Moroccan Steak Soup
3 Pounds of Steak, cut small
2 Cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
2 Tablespoon fresh parsley
2 Tablespoon Basil
¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
¼ cup Olive Oil
1 Whole Onion, chopped
14 oz. Diced Tomato
20 oz. Water 2- 14 oz. cans Chick Peas
Mix Marinade ingredients together and add meat. Stir to cover meat. Cover and refrigerate for 4-6 hours. Brown meat and onions in small amount of oil. Place in crockpot with diced tomatoes, 20 oz. of water and drained chick peas. Cook on high for one hour then place on low and cook for 4 hours.
